Ken-GreeneKenny Greene attended Washington State University, where he was an All-Pac 8 Corner, Defensive MVP and First Team All-American.  He was later named to the All-Century Team at WSU.  Drafted in the first round by the St. Louis Football Cardinals in 1978-19th pick overall, Greene was named their Rookie of  the  Year and made several All-Rookie Teams.  One of the Cardinals leading tacklers, his best year was in in 1981, where he led the Cardinals in tackles with 144, 7 interceptions and 16 pass break ups.  Greene went on to finish his 7 year career with the San Diego Chargers.  Leaving the playing to the younger generation, Greene went on to coach Division I Football for 13 years with Fresno State, Purdue University and Washington State University.  His knowledge of the game and ability to teach his players to compete at the highest level was demonstrated by the continuous stream of prodigies into the NFL – 18 in total. Kenny’s passion for Athletes Recovery was realized when too many former teammate’s lives where being sidetracked by addiction. The only way to make a difference, was to get involved.  It is he and his wife Tina’s mission to create a safe place for those athletes struggling with  addiction, to be empowered through Athletes Recovery, to regain their life and self-respect.
